I've been discussing this wih a friend. What is baptism?

To baptize (βαπτίζω baptizo (bap-tid'-zo) v.) is to 1. to immerse, submerge. 2. to make whelmed or soaked (i.e. fully wet). KJV translations include Baptist, baptize and wash.

Contemporary English terms for this include bath and shower. This is what one does in order to cleanse themself externally. Ritualize this practice in religious context and it's called baptism.

But what about internally... spiritually? If you baptize yourself with water internally you'll drown and die.

Matthew 3:11 - Jah People Version
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Sacred Breath (Cannabis, Isaiah 30:33) with fire: [JPV]

Jahshuah (Jesus) recognized the difference between internal cleanness and the illusion of external appearances:

Matthew 23:25-23:27 - King James Version
25
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
By all means, please take regular baths or showers. No one wants to stand downwind of a dirty, stinky, unwashed human. But have you washed inside? Have you washed yourself spiritually? How do jah people wash themselves spiritually?
Exodus 15:6 - Jah People Version
The right hand of Jah (Cannabis, Isaiah 66:14) is his great power: the right hand of Jah shatters his enemies. [JPV]

Jahshuah (Jesus) ordains exactly what to do with Jah's great power:

Matthew 28:18-19 - Jah People Version
18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19
Live accordingly, and teach all nations, baptizing (washing) them in the character of the father and of the son, even the sacred breath (Cannabis). [JPV]

Are you dirty on the inside? Confused, unclear, anxious, burdened, stressed?

Baptize yourself in Jah's Sacred Breath.

Contemporary English expressions for this include smoke a doobie and burn a fatty. And don't forget:

Proverbs 16:24 - Jah People Version
Graceful, suitable instructions come from honey dabs (Cannabis): sweet breath is medicine for the bones. [JPV]

Whether you ritualize it or not, jah people, wash on the inside. Be clean and love one another.
